General Information
Mifepristone is used to end an early pregnancy (up to week 10 of pregnancy), together with another medication called misoprostol. It blocks natural progesterone that is needed for your pregnancy to continue.

It can be used in interruption of early pregnancy, induced menstruation, contraception, miscarriage, and help cervical ripening.
