General Information
Oxcarbazepine is an anticonvulsant, it can treat seizure disorders (epilepsy), used with other medicines. It is a derivative of carbamazepine, which has the same effect as carbamazepine, but has fewer side effects and no adverse drug interactions. It works by decreasing nerve impulses that cause seizures and pain.
